1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, improve user experience, and provide information to site owners. This policy explains how cookies are used on www.auditscale.eu in compliance with the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), and the relevant national implementations.
2. Cookies used on this site
AuditScale's own site does not set any first-party cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. We use the following minimal technologies:
| Technology | Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
localStorage — key auditscale_modal_draft_en_v1 |
Browser storage (not a cookie) | Save your form progress so it is not lost if you close the modal | Until you successfully submit the form, or you manually clear browser data | No (strictly necessary, requested by the user) |
| Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) | Third-party HTTP request (no cookie set in your browser by us) | Load the Inter typeface | Per-request only | No (essential CSS asset) |
Cal.com (only on /thank-you.html) |
Third-party iframe embed | Display the booking calendar after a successful form submission | Cookies and storage are set by Cal.com inside the iframe, per their own policy | Yes — but only after you have explicitly submitted the request form |
| Formspree (form submission endpoint) | One-shot HTTPS POST request | Deliver your form submission to our inbox | No persistent cookie set | Covered by explicit form-submission consent |
3. Third-party cookies on /thank-you.html
The Cal.com booking calendar embedded on the thank-you page may set its own cookies and storage items inside its iframe. AuditScale does not have direct control over these. They are governed by the Cal.com Cookie Policy. By proceeding to book a call, you accept Cal.com's terms.
4. How to manage cookies
You can configure your browser to refuse all cookies, accept only some, or warn you before accepting one. Restricting cookies may affect functionality of third-party services embedded on the site (specifically the Cal.com booking calendar). Instructions for the most common browsers:
